Zypsofine
It is a polymer modified, white cement-based thin-set tile adhesive for fixing high porosity tiles like ceramic/ clay tiles, terracotta and small format natural stones. It is suitable for horizontal surfaces over the cementitious substrate for indoor application in dry and wet areas.

Application
Surface Preparation
- Remove all dirt, dust, grease and loosely adhering material from the wall surface with the help of sandpaper, putty blade or wire brush.
- Moisten the wall with sufficient quantity of clean water.
- Pre-wet the substrate so that you can have a higher coverage, higher bonding strength with the surface, and easy workability.
Mixing
Add 55-60% clean water slowly to make a lump free paste of Birla white Zypsofine. Continue mixing for 2-3 minutes until a uniform paste is formed. It is important that the mixing of Birla White Zypsofine is done thoroughly. This will help in easy application and obtaining more coverage. Also, only prepare a quantity that can be used within 15 minutes of mixing with water.
Application
- Apply the first coat on the wall surface from the bottom in an upward direction uniformly using a putty blade.
- Level the surface with a putty blade by removing any extra material over the wall surface.
- If required, apply another coat of Birla White Zypsofine to top it off.
- Leave the surface for drying.
